Smart Parts made sure make this marker shoot as good as it looks. All Freak Factory Impulses have fade anodizing with a matching Stainless steel Freak Barrel with one .693 insert. The high gloss anodizing is damn sick! You can bet that this beauty will turn heads at your local field. Your friends will beg you to shoot it just because of its looks. Add in the custom milling on the body, gas through grip, and feed tube and you have yourself a price of art.
Not to get carried away with the aesthetics of the marker, let me break down the features. First, the Impulse has a Vision Eye that detects when a ball is loaded into the breech. When the eye is turned on, via a push button on the back of the marker, it will not shoot unless a ball is ready to fire. This key feature dramatically reduces chopped balls and allows you to achieve unbelievable rates of fire! Next up is the upgraded Voodoo Bolt. The Voodoo is made from Delrin, which is a material that does not require oil. The idea is that it is lightweight and requires little maintenance. Plus, Delrin does not scratch the inside of the marker like a stock aluminum bolt. Another feature of the Voodoo Bolt is its Venturi head design. The Venturi head allows for an even distribution of air over the ball when the marker is fired. This prevents ball breakage and increases accuracy. Smart Parts also included a Tapeworm onto the Freak Factory. It restricts air from leaving the air chamber to prevent re-cocking problems. This little part is a bit of insurance to keep you playing all day without worrying about your equipment. The last custom part on the Freak Factory is the Blade Trigger. The Blade Trigger comes all the way from England to bless the Impulse. It has two separate adjustment screws to restrict trigger movement o you can fine-tune the trigger pull to just millimeters long. The trigger on this baby is sweet! |
